Surrounded by gentle Tuscan hills, Villa Saulina estate has a large manor house dating back to the 1800's and three farmhouses set in greenery and peacefulness.
The crops of the farm "I Mori" , owned by the same family, extend all around the Villa and ensure guests wholesome and delicious food with its grapevines, olive groves, vegetable gardens and orchards.

In the Restaurant of Villa Saulina, located in the wine cellars of the old estate, guests will discover the typical flavours of Tuscany's wine and cuisine, with the possibility of organizing banquets for ceremonies and weddings.

The main Villa, built in Art Nouveau style, houses most of the rooms and the common areas like the restaurant, the bar and 2 meeting rooms: Saletta Michelangelo can host up to 15 people and Sala Leonardo up to 50. They can be used to organize update courses, seminars and conferences. The farmhouses host the apartments and the rooms.

Villa Saulina complex disposes of two outdoor pools where guests can relax at any time of the day: one is located near the main body of the Villa and the second is close to the farmhouses. The estate also offers plenty of space for playing outdoors.

It is possible to visit the wine cellars of our farm and purchase traditional Tuscan products including Chiant DOCG, Vin Santo, Chianti Grappa, extra virgin olive oil and honey.
Near Villa Saulina it is possible to take riding lessons, even for beginners, and do riding excursions in the surrounding country areas.

Rooms at Villa Saulina are furnished with traditional and typical Tuscan furniture and materials to recreate the wonderful atmosphere of the old farmhouses that used to be located in the surrounding hills: wood floors, walnut furniture, beds with wrought iron headboards. Rustic and comfortable at the same time, the 18 rooms in the Villa and Guesthouses were completely renovated in 2004 and equipped with all types of comforts including direct dial phone, minibar, satellite TV, air conditioning and private bath with hairdryer.

By plane
Florence's Amerigo Vespucci Airport is 15 km from Villa Saulina, while Pisa's Galileo Galilei Airport is about 60 km away and it is possible to take a taxi directly to the airport or request the hotel's shuttle service (upon reservation and payment) that is available to our guests.

By car
From the motorway A1 take the Firenze - Scandicci exit and follow the signs for the Superstrada Firenze-Pisa-Livorno heading towards Pisa. Exit at Lastra a Signa, keep to the right and pass through the whole town, after the traffic light and after around 100 meters turn left for Malmantile Ginestra.
Go up hill for about 4 km until you pass the crossroad for Malmantile; after approximately 200 meters turn left and take the road that leads you directly to the Villa.

By train
To reach Villa Saulina from Florence's Santa Maria Novella train station (about 15 km), you can take a taxi directly from the station, request the hotel's shuttle service (upon reservation and payment) or take once of the bus connections to Lastra a Signa station (about 2 km from Villa Saulina) where, upon reservation, we will be happy to pick you up.
